The Lord has called Erick Jean-Francois Home. Be in peace El Bricon!

I am sad to announce my dad, Erick Jean-Francois, 86, died today , in his home, Rue Fourchard, # 51, Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

He was born on December 6, 1930, in Chambellan, Grande-Anse, Haiti.

In 1962, he married Elucianne Momplaisir; and together they raised 9 sons and daughters, and 10 grandchildren.

Erick was a retired officer from the Haitian Armed Forces, and was particularly known for his commitment to serve.

Funeral services will be held next week in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Memorial donations may be made in Erick’s name to the Chambellan Relief Effort.

My condolences Roosevelt. Losing one’s biological parent is very hard. Didn’t know you have roots in the Grande Anse. My immediate maternal parents were born and raised in Jeremie, but my grandparents are from Moron. I hear them talk about Chambellan. My uncle used to have a camion and drove passengers and machann all over the area. My 98 year uncle is still in Moron. I feel very bad for him, staying under a puella.
